STRAYING FF This room with all the different characters on the shelves is one of the busiest rooms in the school. Under the direction of Mrs. Hotherr, the library keeps the students and faculty up on current events and history too. First step to major operations can sometimes be seen in Mrs. Henkle's Biology class, when stu- dents are dissecting insects. In the office machine class you hear the clicking, clacking of type- Writers, runnin g oi all the ma- chines, and the oh's and ah's of the students as they correct the stencil typing. You see the stu- dents and Mr. Swanger hurrying around to get the tests and school paper out on time.

But don't think his- tory students live in the past, be- cause they study history from the beginning of time until this very day. That is What makes history a subject of interest. This scene is typical ot what happens every time a bell rings in Y.H.S. Some people run up the ramps and others run down, with the re sult that you have some people in the middle who get no place fast. Still, it's lots ot fun. Any day from ll:U5 until l2:OO, you Will find the seniors learning all about the body and how it works. Under the guidance ot Ed May, they study everything from clavicles to vitamins and all the way back.
