vm And here comes a lrttle glrl from Ilrnors Gene vreve Brrsco Thrngs went along qurte smoothly At the close of the year we lost INoel Her man and Harold Scott Then comes our Sophomore year Here we lost some of our class Vera Prle moved away but we added one to take her place Thelma Lodge Some Where along the trme we lost Maude Dorton and Ila Derbyshire but through Maude s hard and eager work she rs agarn one of Our .Iunror year' We sat over there next to the Senrors and longed for the day when we would occupy those seats Kate Broadwater Ruth and Kathleen Strck rorned us and glad we were to re cerve the good workers rnto our class We are sorry to say but Vada Watts drd not get to be wrth us that frrst half year of school It was durrng our Junror year that we lost Delmo and Ellen Scott Jerry Pennybacker was there to frll one of the empty seats Durrng our Junror year we put on the play Professor Pepp, a three act com edy We are happy to say that rt was a huge success So here we are, been one of our outstandrng, boy rn rthletrcs Robert MCKlHlCW ha played four years of basketball but has only had the ,good fortune to frnd a berth on the second tearrr but that was not because has that and also the herght He has had bad health and other thrngs that has held hrm b'r k and we are sorry to see hrm go Earl Manor has had one year on the 'asketball and laseball teams each and has done well rn each of them Earl was the southpaw prtcher on thrs year s champronshrp team and also guard on the Trger s Basketball tearrr He wrll be mrssed next year and we wrsh he could he back Carl McShurley rs one of the few ex ceptrons rn Hrgh School Athletics and that rs that he made strarght As and also found a berth on the frrst team thrs vear 'Phrs rs the frrst year he has plaved basketball although he has play ed on two or three champronshrp teams rn baseball Eugene Baldwrn Ilrgh School Baby or somethrng' Sr has had tough luck be cause he was too old to play basketball thrs year but he went along wrth the team and drd a lot for the team S probably trarned as good as any member of the team So Lon ' Sr' Kenneth Koontz rs the only four year man on our basketball team He has played on our three successrve champron shrp baseball teams Koony was a tower of strength to both teams and we are sorry to see hrm go And last but not least comes the Chrefs favorrte Grlbert Fuller better known as Indran He has become a full fledged Trger and h s also play ed on the baseball team Grb always had a good drsposrtron and was yxell lrked by the boys and we are wrshrng he could stay
