orlglnal number to complete the Freshman vear A much vslser and smarter bunch entered the new bulldlllg the followmg fall On October lb 1922 the doors of the new school bulldmg were thrown open to admlt mamlv tw entv nme Sophomores three of whom were begmnlng there flrst vear vw 1th us Claudla Dorton Marguerlte Clevenger and Jacob Lennmgton vu ho took the place of three Freshman who had moved Opal Bolton Nye Irene Courtnev and Halhe Conner MISS Lorncr however and Harrv Rlchardson are graduatmg wlth the class at Muncie Hlgh School thls vear Our Sophomore vear saw no new members dur mg the vear All went well wlth the ent1re twentv nlne of us untxl Earnest Mlller succumbed to an at tack of low grades and retlred from hlgh school on Februarv 16 1923 At about the same tlme Rubv Fuson and Waneta Parklson were forced to vuth draw on account of poor health and about one month later Marguerlte Clevenger also bade good owe to Y H S and surroundlngs Our next enemv seemed to be Sprmg Farm Work and two of our bovs Arthur Davls and Robert Reed answered the call vwhlle another Carl Ogle flndlng It easler to flsh along the rlver than to studv Latm followed the lmes of least reslstance and also wlthdrew about the same tlme Follovs mg these ravages of slckness, work and lazmess there were twenty two Sophs left to f1n1sh the second tear At the begmnmg of the Junlor vear Mlldred Abbott and Athel Garner vellded to the lntense cravmg for beautlful clothes and an exlstence that affords more so called pleasure than school and thev too made the great mlstake kathrxn kldd entered Dalevllle from whlch she lb graduatlng thls vear However three new students came and supplanted the three who had dropped out and started thelr Junior ve r Ru vv Fuson had loo' ed at the green people of Cammack long enough that she recovered ler p rtlallv lost eveslght and returned Marv Lolse Searls came from one of her alvwavs mvsterxous of the Class of 25 as a result of havmg taken too long a Chrlstmas vacatlon the vear before All went well untll Rubv Fuson agaln had to leave school on account of bad eveslght real or lm agmarx On Janualv 1 1925 Dora Nelson saw fmt to leave school for obvlous reasons and embark wlth the good shlp Elll on on the rough and stormv sea of matrlmonv Mav she have a happv prosperous and seaslckless vovagel Incldentallv four others vx ho have been at one t1'ne member of our class are sallmg that same sea Thev are namelv Opal Nve Bolton Marguerlte Clevenger Margaret Applegate and Waneta Parklson As far as anvone knows thev are maklng the best of a bad mlstake 7 A ' m.
