Navigation is the art and practice of locating the position and plotting the course of ships. The ship's Navigation Department does this vvith the aid of celestial observations and electronic devices. At any time of the day the quartermaster gang may be required to located the LADY Within a few yards of her position, plotting her unerringly on her course.
