With the Golden Gate in sight, We know that We'1l soon be near our loved one's. l mfblffl 0018 y Eager eyes turned eastward, towards home, when the LADY'S tour was completed. She had been on the line for six months, doing the job she had to do. In all phases of operations, her duties had been done exceedingly Well. Outstanding , Excellent , and Well Done were words heard at the completion of each task she was assigned. The adventure is over now and the .homeland and all its means is dearer as it comes into view. For some it was the last cruise for others the first of many more t to come. Somelwho met us, Weren't around when We left. Some Chiefs do everything in double, and smile about it too

Charity was really quite painless announces the last winner. i i in the form of raffle tickets handled in turn by Officers, Chiefs, and PO,s. There was a great deal of enthusiasm shown by both ticket salesmen, who each guaranteed a winner everytime, and buyers, who thought perhaps he might be the winner. Not everyone Won a prize, but nobody lost as the LADY It Wasnnc Very hard to fmd a ticket Salesman proved she had a heart as Well as spirit. on the LADY. Our Chiefs had a special Way of getting The Executive Officer congratulates the Winners of one of the money for our Charity Drive. raffles. M q Y

. This was a moment We had anticipated for many months It's great to be home again. There will be no more good-byes for some time It don't take long for us to find our loved ones who were awaiting our safe return.
