While she was at Alameda. uea fa The LADY, many times during the cruise proved herself a gracious hostess. All her visitors, orphan and govenor alike, were awed hy her tremendous size and by the immensity of her task. The guests inspected the LADY from keel to radar dome asking streams of questions about how this and that Worked. To be sure, not all were answered, but We did our best. Explorer Scouts salute the Chief of the Watch as the come aboard the LADY Taking a tour of the ship are Vice Admiral Jennings, Vice Admiral Combs, Captain Colestock, and Admiral Clark. 268
