The level of entertainment was often times professional. gnfehfainmenf .xdcfiuifiefi The LADY has moments for relaxation, and her men have devised many ways to occupy them. The Yorktown band can be found rehearsing at unlikely times and places, and this practice makes for perfection. They provide many pleasant hours of live entertainment for the crew. Happy Hour was held at irregular intervals during the cruise, and the crew was given ample opportunity to display their talents. Everything from acrobats to harmonica players,t and of course the inevitable western band performed. The level of entertainment often was professional, and all efforts were sincerely appreciated and welcomed by the LADYUS men. Manytalents were displayed during happy hour. The pilot who makes the landing is feted with a cake, and his squadron entertains p the Wardroom With a short skit. At these times no officer is safe from the barbed wit of his cohorts, and a jovial atmosphere prevails. i l CDR Glasgow MC's one of the wardroom skits. - The arresting gear crew gets their cake to 0.
