Captain Colestock looks over his new men. With all the pomp and pagentry that the military can muster, Captain Edward E. Colestock assumed com- mand of the Fighting Lady. He relieved Captain Emmet O'Beirne on September 14, 1956. Captain Cole- stock had come from the U. S. Military Mission in Brazil Where he served as Chief of the Naval Section.
