on .Ang From the moment the pilot stepped aboard to guide us through Lie Mieu Pass into the harbor until our reluctant departure a week later, Hong Kong was all the extolling adjectives ever applied to a port. Exotic, romantic, and mysterious. A ride up the Peak Tram gave us an all-encompassing view of the sights that could not all be visited if anytime were to be allotted to shopping in this buyer7s paradise. . , The undaunted spirit of Hong Kong, contentious of neighboring Red China, was symbolized in the colony's wealth of new building projects. However, these did not obscure the traditional attractions that are still evident in such scenes and the ornate Tiger Balm Gardens, sedate Repulse Bay, and the many famed restaurants.
