Satans Kittens of Fighter Squadron One Hundred Ninety One scorch the skies in their North American FI-3 Furies. Commanding Officer, Commander J. S. Swope, leads the squadron in maintaining air superiority for the defense of the USS Yorktown. A first line fighter, the Fury of VF-191 has assumed the task of daylight Combat Air Patrol, fighter sweeps, and other missions designed to keep the crew and pilots ready for any eventuality. In Navy circles of aviation, whenever Fighter Squadron 191 is mentioned, it is as- sociated immediately with the precision fiight team 6' Blue Anglesv, for Satans Kittens were the parent squadron of that famous flight exhibition team.
