,Is-33 ' , :frifilif -sLs2?A,u.Q.iQ2?i'E?E5 COMMANDER CARLTON H CLARK U S N EXECUTIVE OFFICER No city is complete without an administrative body, and the city within the Yorktown posesses a well trained organization consisting of a personnel office, where leave, liberty, transfer requests and service records are taken care of, an education and training office, which handles USAFI training courses and advancement of rate, a legal office in which both civil and military councelling may be obtained, a chaplain's office, where a Protestant and Catholic chaplain are available for personal consultations and religious services. There is also a special services office, which is responsible for main- taining morale of the men on board with movies, happy hours, bingo games, a radio station, and other pleasant activities. The publc information office publishes a semi-monthly newspaper, and the master at arms keeps the chain of everyday events flowing smoothly throughout the ship. At the print shop, all kinds of printing is done, including the ship's newspaper.
