All hands Turn to, insuring that the Lady's crew of 3000 will have plenty of good chow. Suppl The Supply Department provides materials and services from pencils to parachutes. There are a labyrinth of storerooms, 61 in all with some 60,000 different items contained therein, valued at over iHS3,000,000. The Cooks and Bakers plan the menus, order the provisions, maintain their storerooms, cook, bake, clean the galleys, and see that each man receives his three squares a day, plus night rations, flight rations and plenty of coffee. Assisting the Cooks and Bakers, the Messman and Mess-Decks-Master-at-Arms clean the messhalls, prepare salads, Wash rness gear, and maintain order in the mess halls. The Sales Division renders many morale building services, such as providing the laundry, cobbler, and tailor. The two fountains provide ice cream, cokes, and other snacks. Three ship's stores provide such things as film, flashlights, jewelry, cigarettes, and hundreds of other similar items. The Disbursing personnel hold pay-day bi-monthly. Allotments are registered, claims paid, and money is changed to that kind used in the many ports We visit. A The versatile men of the Wardroom Division maintain the Wardroom, Officeris galley, Pantry, and Staterooms-Call 97 of them plus five bunkroomsl.
