Class Prophecy WHO -- Miriam Ocker and Donna Brough WHEN — 1972 HOW — by coincidence WHERE — where else but in York Springs Well excuse me, but I think I was here first. Well, I'll be ----- aren't you Donna Brough? Why yes — well it's Mink, isn't it? And as the story goes they talked. We are now stepping off the curb and onto the street. Have you seen many of the kids that graduated with us? Well, to tell you the truth Mink I've been to busy. You know, of course. I'm not living here anymore. I have ray own business in Gettysburg. I just bought a new Mercury, you know. Well, I'll be seeing you, say, why don't we get together sometime? Z-O-O-M Those kids, still hot-rodding — wait, I'll give it to him — Mink , it's Lil John Cashraan. I haven't seen him in years. Donna, what a surprise. Well, Chicks — how do you like my new car? Crazy? No? And how about my haircut? Bev Feather designed it for me. She owns Le Bev's . It's well known in New York. Her■ itty-bitty, buddy-buddy , Louise Group runs the West Coast Line for her. How's the accounting business, John? Well, most of the time I'm not accountin' numbers but accountin chicks. My own little joke. Which reminds me! I'm late — gotta bug off. By the way, did you hear about Phyllis Yohn? She bought out T.W.A. Yea — first woman airline pilot too. She's got it made. John! watch out — my word Donna he almost got hit — who would drive a big black car like that anyhow Donna, it's Ken LaRue. He just got elected as Governor of the state. Why, I'd never know that was the same Ken LaRue. He has some pretty wild parties. He and that friend of his. Mayor Kuntz. Lester Griest supplies all the drinks for his parties. Lester? Sure, he owns that big dairy farm on the Coast to Coast Highway. Do you know who designed that highway? Judy Johnson's husband. No! And as John says, she has it made, Speaking of making out good. Merle Rumsey is about the richest multi-billionaire ever. How's that Don- na? With mouse traps. He bought out the fleet of Navy ships from Nancy ueardorff. She's business manager for her husband, who has retired after 20 years of Navy life. Janet Smith is secretary to Merle. By any means, did you hear about that brand new hospital up on the hill where our pines used to be. I hear it's operated by Sarah Griest and Joanna Riley. Rhoda Brough is head of all nurses. And, speaking of nurses, Ella Jean Lerew even has her own Doctor to work with. Well, my goodness, here comes Phyllis Beaverson with all the little Phyllises and Georges. She must be on her way to pick up her sister-in-lav Myrtle Fahnestock Corbitt, whose husband owns the Inland Container Co. Hey, Mink, who's that walking up the street? Well, thac's Shirley Hankey. She is now president of the Penna. Teachers Association , and of course. Faye Weigle is her secretary. Mink, do you remember those two girls in our typing class, Barbara Emlet and Fern Arnsberger? I heard just the other day from Doris Heller, whose husband is a C.P.A that they own their own typewriter manufacturing co. Now, I must really go. I'm late and we have to drive «11 the way to Gettysburg. See you Sunday at our 15th reunion. ., Well, I'll have to go too. I have to broil Dean a steak for supper. If I can get him in from that ait- alfa field. So Long
