Our post was organized in the fall of I947 after a York delegation attended a conference in Anderson the previous spring. In November, l948, Mary Frances Carroll and Lilly Simrill chaperoned by Mr. H. C. Johnson, rep- resented the York post at Buck Hill Falls, Pennsylvania, where the National Con- vention was held.
