efdddp It IS the year 1985 and the b1ggest Alumn1 Home Com1ng Dance 1n the H1story of York School Guy Lombardo s band 1S play1ng for the b1g occas1on Everyone lS there from students who went to school 1n1955 to students now attend1ng 1n 1985 I ll start w1th the graduates of 1955 Howard B1nger has come w1th h1s pretty w1fe fThe1r young son and daughter had to stay home th1S t1me 1 Tom Farrow who 1S now danc1ng w1th h1S Wlfe re cently won the Nobel PTIZC for h1S new mathemat1cal theory about the Fourth D1men s1on Barbara Dw1ght and her husband are sweep1ng 1n Barbara IS wear1ng a beau t1ful sable coat S1nce her husband has become a leadmg advert1s1ng execut1ve 1n the world Barbara collects rare furs as a hobby Nancy Colv1n was hav1ng a lovely t1me greet1ng old acqua1ntances she has been g1v1ng a ser1es of lectures on Jour nal1sm and has just gotten back from a tour of Europe Joyce Woleslagel has been ta1k1ng to her Joyce as you know 15 one of the top models 1n the Un1ted States she 1S gett1ng ready to take a screen test 1n Hollywood 1n preparat1on for mak1ng several p1ctures Melva Hayward now a general 1n the WAC Corps 1S havxng a wonderful t1me makmg eyes at Dale Ze1ber We all feel very proud of Dale because a month from now he w1l1 f1nally become a PFC after e1ght years as a rec ru1t Anne Pocock a DPA has someth1ng to be proud of too she has Just been named top government Loretta McConnell and Carol Berber1ck polled the1r resources and developed the largest cattle ranch 1n Flor1da When they came 1n they left the1r guns and spurs at the door Ann Hansen a b1g game huntress had to leave her r1fle at the door too Ann came home two weeks ago from Afrlca where she has been hunt1ng rh1noceroses Kenny Whlte and h1s pretty Wlfe are hav1ng a small argument w1th another couple on the floor about who bumped who Kenny 1S Dean of Wesleyan College for Curls Now the spotl1ght IS on D1ck He1mbaugh a r1s1ng opera star All we can say 15 The Metropol1tan Opera 1sn t what lt used to Be' A modern dancer IS next on the program Her dance 15 odd maybe extreme though 15 the word so lt must be none other than A1lCC Cotter1ll After she went off Larry Gardner took over as The Boy Juggler on Roller Skates It really made us happy when he d1dn t mlss once' Last but not at all least was B111 Hartley a rare w1t and Playwr1ght After searchmg for many years he found that th1S profess1on requ1red the least work Ted Warner just ran up on stage he d1dn t want to be left out because he has a few ' words to say Everyone 15 settl1ng down for a long stay because Ted 1S known for h1s long w1ndeness SIHCC he became Speaker of the House 1n Washmgton So on went the dance and on went the l1ves of the Alumn1 we W1Sh each of them good luck and happ1ness Th1s page 1S sponsored by DANKLEFSEN TRACTOR SALES Ferguson New Idea New Holland Massey Harr1s Parts Sales SGTVICS Weld1ng Repa1r Bellevue Ohlo Y , . . . .
