This is a full time job in itself and we greatly appreciate the efforts put forth by these people. If it weren't for them, we would not have achieved the fine school or capable teachers that we have today. Grain - Seed - Feed Coal - Fertilizer - Paint Fence k Grain Supplies CLASS HIS Tony Quite green we entered the Freshman class room on September 5, l9ho. Very anxious to get started we filled out our entry blanks. While walking through the halls we heard remarks from the upper class- men like these ---- nHow did they make it?U and Hwhat are they doing up here?n Jim Schoen and Carolyn Osmus enlarged our enrollment by two and Marion Cleveland left us in the middle of the year. Marilyn Moyer took charge of our business meetings while Alfred Swartz stood in. Dexter Girton did the writing and Margaret Thurn counted the pennies. We came back this year less anxious than last year. Alfred Swartz headed the class with Jim Schoen as helper. Margaret Thurn did the scratching while Charles Dwight held the money bag. For making money this year we had a Western Show. Our ranks were depleated when Alfred Swartz and Richard Som ers withdrew. Oh, what we have been looking forward to---our Junior year. Mary Ellen Camacho and Stanford Wise joined us at the start of tne year. Roger Vickery chipped in towards the last when Mary Moreno, Mary Alice Kreh, and Lester Kreh decided to leave us. This year Robert Martin did tne talking and Dale Gilbert was the 'Minute Man'. Margaret Thurn had aquired the title 'Scribe' by this time and Marilyn Moyer signed all the checks for us. This year was full of activities. The Junior Play, buying class rings, selling Christmas cards and wrappings. Of course we sold candy, pop, and ice cream at the basketball games. Then came the big time to spend the money ---- The Junior-Senior Prom! We had a great time. It was held at HThe Log Cabin Innn at Bay Bridge. Don't tell us! Yes, it's the end already! Well, it's been lots of fun. Everett Bush and Harold Bogner made things less dull this year. Carolyn Osmus sailed off during the three months vacation and Roger Vickery left without even saying 'good-bye' to us. Dale Gilbert was addressed as President and Nillian warner was put in as the as- sistant. Larry Smith writes down the gab and Stanford Wise doesn't talk, just gathers in the dough. First, for excitement came our grad- uation portraits, then came the measuring for our caps and gowns. Or- dering name cards and invitations followed quite close. Soon we elected the staff for the Annual. Later was the Senior Play, Glass Day. Junior-Senior Banquet, Baccalaureate, Commencement. Now for the time when we will all be together for a week---our class trip. Wonder what we will be doing at this time next year. Maybe mar- ried life, maybe college, or perhaps a great career for some. Wonder if any great names will appear from the class of '52, Let's wait and see. Bye to good old York, but we still have the many memories of it fresh in our minds. This page sponsored by THE GREENSPRINGS CO-OP ASSN. Guy Lambardo's band is playing for the big occasion in the Students Center Ballroom. Everyone is there, all students who went to the school in l9hO to students now attending in l96O. Our boys and girls have really gone places in this old world. Dexter Girton is chief engineer of a construction company. At the present they are building a dam across York Centralized Creek. It's to be the largest ever made---large enough to build an airport on. Larry Smith has become a famous Hillbilly singer. He just re- vived Frankie Laine's old song, NMule Trainn, under the title of, HI Get a Kick Out of Youn. Mary Ellen Camacho, who has changed her name to NBlowern, now runs a beauty salon in Austin, Texas. Her motto is, nLipstick and paint can make you look what you ain'tn! Marilyn Moyer has finally become the secretary of one of the most prominent men known ---- Mr. Harold Bogner, who now owns the business of nThe Prominent Street Cleanersn. Stanford Wise is getting along well in the world. He has now graduated from the saw and hammer nflunkien class and is a well known and busy contractor. Everett Bush just bought a.new house and his only problem was of landscaping it. He soon figured out a way to solve this problem. He got married and now there are four or five Bushes around the house. Edna Adair has finally got her man, the last time I saw her, all of her eight children were trailing along behind her. Charles Dwight is now in a very profitable business. He special- izes in fixing the tops of cars when they are dented in or torn loose. He has been doing very excellent work and is now in great demand. Bill Warner has become a very prosperous school book manufacturer but he still goes by the motto of, 'Never allow your books to inter- fere with your pleasures.' Jim Schoen has followed in Mrs. Level's footsteps. He just made everyone line up and throw their gum away, even if we were at a banquet. Margaret Thurn has become one of John Robert Powers' models. Even though she was cheerleader for three years, she just can't seem to get away from it. The last we heard she was touring the country and modeling every cheerleading out-fit known. Dale Gilbert has been very successful also. He has become head coach at one of our larger schools and the boys seem to be in the win- ning column right now. This page is sponsored by A. C. SCAGNETTI k SONS Cement Products, Excavating Builder's Supplies READY-MIXED CEMENT 205 Maple Street Bellevue Ohio D Pro lnecyfconfl Elizabeth Larson is up and fighting the old world also. She has become one of the most up and coming hamburger makers of our times. Arlene Riegel holds the position of head librarian at the York Township Public Library. The library has grown quite large and has several branches. Last January she was elected President of the United Librarians Association. Chester Hoge has now reached the goal of his life. He is the greatest Veterinary surgeon of Clyde, Ohio. we are sad to say that Chester's patient, a skunk, died recently. well, that seems to be all of us. This banquet was over before we knew it, but, oh well everyone was here that needed to be. At work as usual. Old time dance. Glory be! Anyone X lose this? Hard at work? ?
