Coach 'George Alexander's squad shot past Columbus in the season opener, 53-21, to score a decisive victory. The Frosh team dropped a hot one to rival Barr Junior High by a 45-49 margin. They changed history, however, by defeating Walnut Junior High, 35-34. It was the first time the young Dukes have won over them since competition was started.
