'1 ,, BOYS' VARSITY SCCCER-Although they ended winless, our soccer team made great gains this year. This was the hrst year we had a varsity team, and its lack of experience was very evident. They. played in the'York County lligh School League which includes schools who have been playing soccer for almost thirty years. The high point in the season for our team was the comment by a former college All- American Soccer Player that Country Day had the most improved team in the league. Our team did manage this year, four of which Dave Wlalker, who was on the team. The other the collaboration of Dan to get live goals were scored by the only senior goal came with VVire and john Fay. Oddly enough, three of the goals came against Spring Grove, who led the league. The team can look forward to a much better future since it was composed of only one senior and a few juniors this year.
