McFarland President Secretary In accordance with recent school legislation, the Board of Education was increased this year from five members to seven. The members of the board, elected by the voters of District 88 to represent them in the administration of the school, serve without pay. The expansion program now in progress has made heavy demands upon them, and for the many hours they give to the welfare of our school we are sincerely grateful. Mr. Mills I. Hersey is President, Mr. Lewis N. McFarland is Secretary, and the members are Mr. Frank Kinst, Mr. C. A. Linder, the Rev. Byron Royer, Mr. Joseph Sheehan, and Mr. Robert B. Snyder. Although his problems have been multiplied by our rapid growth, he can still manage a smile. The blueprints which have become permanent desk covers in his office are visible in the large picture.
