lm TAQ IAOMC! O! OMF' Web!! Cbfgglffllf' York's beautiful new library was formally dedicated on March 29. Modern and functional in clesign, it is intended to be used as a laboratory classroom, or more exactly, laboratory classrooms. The reading areas are separated according to purpose, the Browsing Room and Vocational Arts Room on the first floor, and the Language Arts Room and Social Studies Room on the second floor. A Supplementary Textbook room on the second floor houses books in classroom quantities. With charge-out desks removed from the study areas, students may take full advantage of each study period. The seating capacity is 216, and 28 classes may be accomodated daily. For views of the inadequate old library facilities, see Page T24. Although his problems have been multiplied by our rapid growth, he can still manage a smile. The blueprints which have become permanent desk covers in his office are visible in the large picture.
