The sludenls who belong lo lhis club learn lhe dillerenl lerms and calls lor every slep and move- menl in lhe dance. This is really somelhing lo know al a real square dance, because il lakes quile some lime lor a beginner lo learn: and a beginner who doesn'l know whal lo do can gel everybody else mixed up loo. Kings and queens chosen by Their respecTive classes were crowned aT This gala alifair. Reigning over all Homecoming were seniors, Lois STouT and John Teschner. Each spring, Pep Club holds a dance honoring basI4eTbaII players. This year iT was girl- aslc-boy and semi-Tormal. IT was very successful. The mosT acTive members oT Pep Club are amply rewarded wiTh club pins. The pins are awarded To members on a poinT basis. The March oT Dimes drive was held in March wiTh sophomores conTribuTing The mosT. An assembly was given by The club members To show The work which They had done To aid oThers. Work and inTeresT in This group may lead To a member's being selecTed To aTTend The Junior Red Cross lNlaTional ConvenTion or The Red Cross Summer Camp. This year The club has chosen Frank Place and John Jenlcins To represenT Yorlc aT The Chicago Junior Red Cross Training Camp.
