Earlier, during The indoor season, The Team had capTured a fiffh in The Oak Park Relays and a Third in The Naperville Relays. Bob Yde Tied for firsT in The pole vaulT, and The medley relay Team of Bob Behmer, Yde, Jasper Daube, and Glen Schricker ran away wiTh The field. ln The ouTdoor season The Dukes, under Mr. EasT, head coach, and Mr. STe-fani, assisTanT coach, won five dual meeTs and losT only one, placed second in The Team's only Tri-angular meeT, finished firsT in The counTy meeT, and picked up a Third place in The disTricT meeT. Only poinT geTTer for York aT The sTaTe finals was Glen Schricker in The half-mile.
