Looking back upon ifs performance fhis year, we find fhaf fhe Sfudenf Council deserved ifs name in lighfs more fhan once. Remember fhose swell falenf shows we had from Maine and Glen- bard? Who arranged fhe exchange assembly program? You guessed if-fhe Sfudenf Council. lf also presenfed fhe honor assembly and fook charge of fhe lnfrannural Program. Working hand in glove wilh fhe PTA., fhe Sfudenf Council helped puf on fhaf fun frolic known as fhe Mardi Gras. This year for fhe firsf fime York welcomed fhe Conference of fhe Sfudenf Councils of our neighboring schools. Perhaps you noficed a lull in fhe usual running, snovfng, and srioufing in Yorks halls along in February. Yes sir, fhe Sfudenf Council did if again by insfifufing a novelfy called Courfesy VJeek. Lunch permifs were done away wifh as fhe Sfudenf Council worked ouf a new lunch sysfem based on sfudenf cooperafion.
