Their party turned out to be a welcome instead Of the initiation they promised 1t's be' Our first president was Frannie Halfman Dick Webster was vice president Keeper of minutes was Willie Mae Bielema, To Bob Hook the money was sent Our teachers were Elliott k Ferrell k Kane Misses Wurster, Jones, Thompson lfor a time! We fell to our studies with all ml ht and main Th parties were gay and subl me The 'Sophs' treated us to a weiner roast grand By this time we felt quite at ease Don Ashby, Bing Mattie, Jerry Swett and Bob Hook At basketball were as neat as you please We started our summer vacation late in Nay, With schemes for having a good time, Some of us would not come back the next year But walt, that's our sophomore rhyme. It must be agreed that our second vear in school Was about the best of them all, With our studies, of course, we did not just fool But their load did not make us fail. All the teachers but Elliott were new this year. Mrs., Porter taught classes of Home Ee. Mrs. Farnsworth a Miss Helen Hughes were here Mr. Farnsworth did the Ag boys respect. This happy year sped by on wings, so it seems We had parties,-the Christmas ball was one, . Our class had its share of romances and dreams Remember the biology trip? What fun!!! Our Junior year began, we were all of good cheer, Greeted old friends, chatted with new All of us were ready for an eventful year With the activities Juniors must do. Donnie guided us as president of our class An other office was Wilma next ln'l1ne. Bing was the treasurer, Fred the note keeper, We really got along fine. Our class'r1ngs we ordered, received with high glee, Showing them off as all Juniors do. We studied under teachers, some new and some oldg Their names: I'll give them to you.
