THE THEATRE The Theatre is defined as being any place where events occur. These events can consist of plays, operas, and motion pictures. In each of these, there are people who portray different roles. Every person has their own theatre. Each person can determine what their role will be. In every role, there is a part of the actor or actress, which is individual to that part. These individuals are responsible for making it possible for each actor or actress to work together to achieve the same goal. 2 PLAYBILL

PECrCCMEC Everyone has a role that they portray, whether it be student, faculty, or adnninistrator. There are many roles that we are born into; such as sex, age, and nationality. There are also roles that we strive to achieve; such as being a student and the type of career you choose. At times the roles we perform complement each other; while at other times they seem to be in conflict. Each individual has to learn to work within their different roles to find a workable balance between each of their roles.
