ACTIVITIES OF THE COLLEGE TRUSTEES The 1959-1960 year has seen the College Trus- tees involved in a multitude of activities deal- ing mainly with the development of our new 5714 acre campus. When the final payment was made in October, an energetic program was started including a campus lay-out, the devel- opment of building styles and a campaign to raise a million dollars. As the Tower goes to press, considerable progress has been made in all directions with ground breaking ceremonies being scheduled for early summer. It is the fond hope of the Trustees that the facilities on the new campus will be available for occu- pancy in September, 1961. Melvin H. In addition to academic activities on campus, the faculty members are active in civic events as speakers and as participants in community educational projects. This year, the Administration and faculty sought a closer relationship with the parents of students by a Sunday afternoon get together in October.
