I can study ohnns and volts and watts and math formulas and graphs — the coldest, most objective facts — and yet, I don ' t know what it is. When one thinks about it, I suppose that ' s the purpose of school: To collect facts into an integrated pattern from which fundament- al laws of nature can be deduced.
