The purpose of the Prometheans, which is made up of students talented in the areas of creative and critical writing, is to provide cultural stimulation on the campus. A person seeking admission to the club must submit a recent, original piece of work to the club, and his accept- ance is dependent on the quality of that work. The Prometheans sponsor the York College Creative Writing Contest, and publish a magazine containing entries in the contest. Picturedltop to bottom: Mike Westerfield club sponsor.
