The Gata Social Club is a united group of girls who strive to further themselves in social, spiritual, and recreational activities. Throughout the year they are involved in the club sports, blood drives, and other pro- jects to advance York College or other spe- cial interests. The letters G-A-T-A stand for Girls Aim Toward Achievement. They strive for this achievement throughout the year. A couple of major projects for the Gatas are Homecoming and Valentines Post Office. They are proud to be Gatas and are proud to be a part of York College.

Phillips, Dale Rodden, Gary Ketner, Ronnie Luther, Don Anderson Sigma Tau is proud to announce that it has two new sponsors this year, Mr. Jim Brock and Mr. Dale Hukle. We lost one sponsor, Mr. Herman Barnett, who decided to devote his full time to being an elder in the church. We wish him the best in his endeavor. This year Sigma Tau wants to fulfill the need for social activities for its members while also letting them have time for their studies. We have enjoyed the soccer, football, and vol- leyball competition and we are looking for- ward to upcoming activities. We hope that the freshmen will carry on for us next year and wish them the best of luck. We feel that we have the best girl on cam- pus for our sweetheart, Sandi Linder. She encourages us and helps us very much. We would not be the club we are without her, and we want to thank her for all she has done for us. This year, maybe more than anything else, we are trying in all of our activities to be a good moral club and good examples. The thought working together forthe good seems to sum up the year for the club.
