(Not pictured Leslie Lacko) r. The 8th grade girls Volleyball team had an outstanding season with a record of five wins and one loss. The most valuable player was Cry- stal Doughman. Crystal served 44 points in the six game season and lead her team to a first place tie with the previ ously undefeated Tuffree. Leslie Gregory was chosen as the most improved player. She im- proved in serving, volleying and net play and earned special recog- nition for her superb efforts. Coach Donna Lindeman said, Ev- eryone was an asset to the team with their dedication and consis- tent willingness to win. ' V -

Coach Patricia Camp, Shelly Trimble, Andrea West, Tracy Lane,- Middle row: Jenny Brobst, Pam Allen, Debbie Mack- Bottom row: Cherie Hanby, Balin Hummitsch, Chris Hamblin. This year ' s seventh grade volleyball team went undefeated. Coached by Mrs. Patricia Camp, the girls did a fine job beating the other scnools, includ- ing Tuffree to put them out in front. The girls practiced before school, dur- ing lunch, and after school which all helped to make them number one. On [Halloween day the girls defeated Tuffree for the championship, which was the toughest competition all sea- son. Of her team Mrs. Camp said, An un- defeated team pretty well speaks for itself. The 1979 league champions told the world they played together as a team with drive and enthusiasm that was unmatched by any other team.
