Your approval or your censure is the only measure of its success-the only indicator as to whether or not the truly great effort of the staff has been expended to the best possible ad- vantage. It has been no easy task to Work out such a publication especially when an abundance of material and a multitude of ideas made conscientious choice extremely difficult. Our only request is a fair consideration of the difficulties We have met and the effort we have put forth to overcome them. Our only hope is that you will find your class book a pleasure to read and to re-read, and an accurate picture of your school life here which in the future Will recall happy memories of Y. H. To them is due not only our gratitude but the gratitude of the Whole community. They have devoted the splendid qualities of mind and heart, which would have brought them success in more lucrative walks in life, to guiding the young along the paths of knowledge. This dedication can only express in some slight degree our deep appreciation of, and abiding devotion to our Faculty. 6
