, ,foe ,QQ MEMORIES come in two flavors - bitter and sweet. For twenty-three years I have collected many memories as superintendent of schools in Yoakum. I am happy that so many of them are sweet memories of good people, industrious stu- dents, students who strive to make life pleasant for those around, and Students eager to gain knowledge. Yes, life in the Yoakum schools has been most pleasant as I have seen great things accomplished in the classrooms, in the music hall, and on the fields of sports. While there have been bitter moments, which I do not like to recall, the sweet memories which I have stored up will be a sustaining influ- ence when the trials and tribulations of life descend in the years ahead, 1- . ? x Cifafed I QA!
