To have given Israel a Rabbi Aharon Lichtcnstcin would have been enough of a claim to fame, but he is only one glorious part of a much larger contribution of teachers, businessmen, and professionals. And for those of us who have not as yet made serious plans or thought about living in Israel, we nonetheless will always remain committed to the security of Israel as a viable and independent nation. We will use whatever means we may have at our disposal — political, social, economic or other to insure the development and growth of our homeland.

To those who would reject all that has been written on these few pages as mere propaganda, which ignores the pro- blems with life at Ycshiva, we say that they arc correct from a day to day standpoint. Our viewpoint, though, is one of retrospect which considers the overall effects of four years of our development. Four years of growth and maturation into contributing members of both American and Israeli society. The effects, if then honestly appraised, were beneficial ones. We are under- standing of Yeshiva ' s. ' -- ' ' - oblivious to then s weakpoi graduatmg class looks back and looks ahead, but most of all, it looks beyond. In looking back it gains a new perspective on the Yeshiva experience by passing over all the insignificant details and petty day to day complaints. Gone are the frantic cramming sessions and the overdue term papers: schedul- ing problems and closed courses dissolve away, as if all the undergraduate obstacles were but spirits and are melted into air. thin air. All that re- mains is the overall view of our college experience. And from retrospect we cannot help but being proud of the past and confident of the future.
