attending one institution for 4 years will have an effect on most individuals; experiencing yeshiva for 4 years hias a profound influence on all of us. yeshiva has provided us with more than just an education — it has helped shape our lives, in many instances yeshiva did not live up to our expectations, but in the final analysis, the meaning the yeshiva experience was exactly what each of us made of it. whether we like it or not, our future developement will be the product of our successes and failures and these past years. i am part of all that i have met yet all experience is an arch wherethro ' gleams that unravell ' d world whose margin fades for ever and for ever when i move. — tennyson

we came from diverse places and varied backgrounds, each of us iiad his own expectations of what he would accomplish during the college years, many came to yeshiva to discover the meaning of their heritage; others hoped to combine intensive Jewish studies with a college education, some weren ' t really sure why they had chosen y.u. yet despite this great diversity, during the past 4 years we all have had one thing in common — our shared experiences as part of the yeshiva community, the bonds of friendship which have developed from this sense of kinship over- shadow any differences in beliefs, attitudes, or goals that exist among us. it is these experiences and relationships that we take with us as we leave yeshiva. friendship needs a certain parallelism of life, a community of thought, a rivalry of aim. — henry adams
