- CLASS OF JUNE, l 942 - ADLER, JACOB It you're looking tor class Talmudist, Yonkel Adler, iust look for Bulman. Arriving from Germany 2 years ago, after hav- ing studied in the Berlin Rabbi- nical Seminary, he soon cement- ed a friendship with Nachman. The 2 are now inseparable cro- nies, constantly arguing about the Talmud. They are T.A.'s Corsican Brothers. Yonkel is the only one ever to take 'Doc's immortal Civics course in Yiddish. BLOCH, MENACHEM Menachem is one fellow who can call Shakespeare a liar. He certainly did not creep like snail unwillingly to school. He rushed in, at a tender age, and rushed out, via the three year course. He has gained an enviable repu- tation as a writer in Hebrew and English and as a capable deba- ter. He aspires to the Rabbinate. His greatest achievement was getting a 95 in History despite the fact that he called Doc , Doctor Shapiro. BERGER, HERBERT Zvi is a fervent member of the Shomer Hadati and a tor- mer bibliothec in Doc's library. He has amassed a grand total ot 2lO credits while in T.A. He is an idealist. He expects to at- tend Cooper Union to tultill his ambition ot becoming an engin- eer and a mathematician while vet continuing his studies at T.l. It not at Cooper Union he will pursue his studies at Hunter land we do mean pursue.i
