Although he found himself in the most stimulat- ing classes in his senior year, he managed not to allow this to inter- fere with his education by reading more books during the class siestas than most boys read during their four years in high school. Lowell, who came to us from the public school system, was the first Mechina boy to get into the highest shiur. In line with L0well's interest in Judaism, he has attained the position of Kashruth Commis- sion Chairman and Hebrew Editor of the Dialect.
