Our in- structors are drawn from several fine schools, bring- ing with them abilities which can only be gained from years of experience. In the past year our Mathematics Department substituted tenth year mathematics for the custom- ary plane geometry. .ff Mr. David Schiff UR science faculty has seen more shifting of personnel than any other department, but throughout this period of transition it has maintained its high standards. When we entered the school the staff consisted of Messrs. Kallner, Lan- downe, and Lebowitzg now, after four years, the first two have been replaced by Messrs. Shiff and Davidson. General science, biology, chem- istry, and physics are the four sciences offered. Of these the first two are required, the second two optional. The science laboratory is used by all classes and practical ex- periments increase interest in the courses. Not relying on texts alone, J. Tesler and M.
