I 4 engli 'EWS HROUGH the joint efforts of the entire staff, the English Department has succeeded in making its course one of the best-liked in the program of studies. In addition to their adeptness at teaching, several members of the department have taken upon themselves extra duties as advisers to student ac- tivities and publications.
