J ' Class Several high honors were won by the mem- bers of the junior class. Mary Ann Hemess brought recognition to the class by being named Ye1m's candidate for the I Speak for Democracy contest. Taking second place in the state 4-H dairy judging contest at Westem Washington Fair, Sid Willuweit placed on the state team that parti- cipated in the national contest at Waterloo, Iowa. Social highlight for the class was the prom held April 28. Mardene Sias and George Smith were co-chairmen of the dance.
