President jack Ienks led the Sophomore year, with the able assistance of Roger I. To begin the second year in high school the Freshman Initiation Party was given. An eventful year was ended by the presentation of the successful Sophomore Hop.

They were welcomed by the rest of the school and initiated rather roughly and thoroughly at the annual FreshmenfSophomore Party. Two of our boys won first team letters. They are Orville McCloud and Ray Elliot.

During the first voyage, Captain Richard Plumbley was first in command with the Admiral, Mrs. Tompkins. The year 1945 saw a change in command when Weldon Zim' merman and Mr. Prescott instructed the second journey. Under their capable leadership Twilight Time, the Sophomore Hop, was a huge success, Capably handling the third cruise were Wann Kelly, president: Betty Hardy, vice presidentg joan Grinde, secretaryg and loan Johnston, treasurer. Winter Wonderland, the lunior Prom, and Busy as a Beaver, the lunior play, were amazing achievements.
