School Board Displays Superior Guidance for YHS The Yazoo City school board meets monthly to discuss school problems and to formulate school policies. The mem- bers of the board strive to maintain ex- cellence at Yazoo Gty High School, as well as the other city schools, by care- fully examining school needs and by se- lecting capable faculty members. Any problem is duly weighed and consid- ered before a decision is reached. This kind of patience has paid off in better school functioning. Because of the time that they unselfishly give and for their concern for the welfare of the student, the school board renders an invaluable service for which we are deeply grate- ful. President John Holmes confers with the school administration regarding policies of the board. 16
