A traditional segment of Yatesville High School life is the selection of the twelve sen- iors, six boys and six girls, who become nomi- nees for the title Mr. and Miss YHS. These twelve students are chosen by the faculty on the basis of scholastic achievement, leadership ability, participation, and cooperation. The twelve chosen students are as pictured below, from left to right: Mary White, Randy Bickley, Janie Daniel, Judy Shaver, Bob Wat- son, Chris Hewett, Hulet Smith, Deborah Ruf- fin, Hugh Smith, Gina Cochran, Kenneth Stan- sell, and Anne Haygood. From these twelve the senior class chose three boys and three girls. As pictured at the right, they are: Randy Bickley, Deborah Ruf- fin, Kenneth Stansell, Mary White, Chris Hewett, and Gina Cochran. The student body chose by popular vote Mr. and Miss Yatesville High School.
