BASEB LL 67-68 The Yatesville Nine opened its baseball season with enthusiasm, and the boys' spirits were not damp- ened when they were defeated in two practice games with R. E. Lee. Ourboys were defeated 9--10 in their first region game with Schley County, but they bounced back to defeat Unadilla 4--2 and Schley County 5--4 in their next two contests. They lost their fourth game to Unadilla, and the regular season ended with Una- dilla holding the sub-region title. However, one of their players was declared ineligible, and our boys found themselves in possession of the crown.
