The H's stand for head , clear thinkirigg heart , loyaltyg hands serviceg and health , better living. Begun in 1899, the clubs are sponsored by the Extension Service of the U. S. Department of Agriculture. Projects range from raising livestock or a crop to home canning or sewingg members exhibit and compete for prizes often at county fairs.
