The F.F.A. organization was founded in 1926, by Henry C. Groseclose. Two years after that the first chapters were organized in the state of Georgia. They held their first State Convention in the summer of 1929. The F.F.A. has four degrees they work toward each year: Greenhand, Junior Farmer, State Farmer, and National Farm- er, respectively. A11 Roads Lead To Rome. A comparatively new or- ganization, the Latin Club had its inception less than ten years ago under the leadership of Mrs. H. G. Holmes, the Latin teacher. Though the club is not primarily a service organi- zation, the members have participated in a number of projects--Thanksgiving fruit baskets, toys to the Empty Stocking Fund, and Christmas cards to the Stop eating and wrap. Cleopatra? ?? Do as The Romans Do? Upson County Hospital Patients. One of the high- lights of this year's activi- ties, however, was the Roman banquet, held February 6. Peek-a-Boo!
