Georgia was the second state association to become chartered. The Georgia Association is divided into four districts. Since 1945, district meetings have been held in each district an- nually and a state convention has been held. Three state activities of which the Georgia Asso- ciation is especially proud are the Inez Murray Award Project,- the F. F.A. -F.H.A. Camping Program, and our state newsletter. The Inez Murray Award is given annually to outstanding senior members planning to enter college to study home economics. Interest in the Georgia Association of Future Homernakers has increased steadily since its founding, and members feel that the organization is one of the most worthwhile youth organizations. pi.
