JU IDR CLASS OFFICERS First How: Miss Dahl, adviser: Jim Huntley. Second Row: Bruce Palmer, Ronnie Koenig, Mr. Turner, adviser. The juniors became upperclassmen this year with a heavy schedule of activities before them. In the first main event of the year, Arickara Day, they made arrangements for humorous skits and for the evening coronation program of Chief and Princess. Their advisers for the year were Miss Elizabeth Dahl and Mr. William Turner. Junior class officers were Ronnie Koenig, president, Bruce Palmer, vice-president, and Jim Huntley, secretary- treasurer. Many money-making projects aided the junior class to finance the spring prom and banquet. Hard work and co operation resulted in the junior class play, Two Gentlemen and Verona, which was directed by Miss Gertrude Harvey. The Soc Hop and the spectacular Mardi Gras were also sponsored by the class. Last, but not least, was the Prom and Banquet, which was the main event of the year. As juniors, they have learned to assume responsibility, they have gained knowledgeg acquired clearer insightg and are prepared to tackle the last year just ahead of them. Page 19
