A resource room was a new addition to Y-C. Here, students learned the basic skills: reading, math, and spelling. Students were also taught study skills to help them in other classes. The Instructional Materials Center, kept in order by Mrs. Gorne and her aide Mrs. Jackson, provided many services such as film strips and file pictures.
