Double Dedication i wr l m QM ,44 H A 4. .- L. .. For a teacher to be more a friend to many students than an instructor is a cherished rarity. However, Mrs. Vicki Pearse is just this type of teacher. Mrs. Pearse has been a member of the Y-C High faculty for the past three years. During this time she has taught such classes as College Prep, Drama, Theatre Crafts, Shakespeare, English and American Literature, Poetry, Creative Writing and Mythology. While at Y-C Mrs. Pearse has also given an abundant amount of her time and talent in the direction of the high school plays. We, the annual staff, dedicate the 1972 TIGER LINES to you Mrs. Pearse, in appreciation for all of your time, effort, talent, helpfulness, and never ending thought- fulness. Mr. William Fi. Opitz Coming in 1968 many changes have appeared during his four years of administration. One of the first changes was the new English program and redecorating the lower hall. The new library was moved to where the old shop used to be and in its place now is Mr. Barnett and Mr. Smiths room. Additional room was added also to the Home Ec. de- partment. A new shop building was added for Art, Industri Mechanics, and Shop classes. Just recently four more new additions with Mr. Opitzs, help were added also. Vocational clusters were open to interested students. Such clusters were Industrial Mechanics, Steno-Clerical, Accounting, and Vo. Ag. The new lunch program was added in 1971 and the new Off-Set machine was put in this year for the use of the school news- paper and various other classes. Two new offices were put in for counseling purposes. For all these accomplishments we feel the 1971-72 TIGER LINES should be dedicated to Mr. Opitz. Mrs. Vicki Pearse
