Class H :story A class of seven boys and two g1rls started out 1n September of 1946 to begln thezr hxgh school Journey mn Yale Hxgh School They were Phoebe Stahl Joyce Hofer Juraxne Hormg Allen Hoier Leroy Hxntz Gordon Bogh Orv1lle Glanzer and James Ford Three of these puplls came 1n from the country d1str1cts and the rest graduated from the grade school 1n Yale We found that we needed some teachers so we chose Mrs K Hxnde Mr B A Schneller and Mr R A Anderson One of the fxrst thmgs we d1d was to elect class offmcers wh1ch were Pres1dent Juraxne Hormg Vxce Pre s1dent Allen Hofer and Secretary Treasurer Phoebe Stahl Then the student body decxded to 1n1t1ate us because of our green hue Thms was great fun because xt was some thlng new and d1fferent for us Freshmen The next year we found ourselves all back except Joyce I-lofer who had Schoof and Mr B A Schneller Our offlcers for tlus year were Juraxne Hormg Orv1lle Glanzer and Gordon Bogh The year 1948 1949 was quxte xmportant for that year we gave our Jumor Play and really bu11t up our treasury Our offmcers that year were Jxm Klemsasser James Ford and Gordon Bogh Our teachers were the same as last year That year we also gave a banquet for the Semors wh1ch took place ln Apnl The next year we started our Senxor year and xt really has been an out standing year Agaln we had a play and the money was used for an educatxonal tr1p Our offxcers were Gordon Bogh Phoebe Stahl and Orvllle Glanzer At last on May 19 1950 we reached our destmatxon and on the evemng of May 19 among our friends we were presented wxth dlplomas that xndxcated that we had reached our destznatlon after four years of tramxng We are now graduates Hurrah' ' 10 moved to Huron. Our teachers were Mr. Donald B. Hansen, Mrs. J. E.
